Who is James Hammon?

James Hammon Advisory is the brainchild of two of Australia’s best digital strategists who intentionally keep a low profile. John James and Matthew Hammon joined forces after working on a coffee industry disruption project in Melbourne Australia. The two subsequently founded James Hammon & Co digital agency in response to frequent requests for their digital marketing expertise.

These days they mix their own entrepreneurial investments with advanced digital consulting for corporate clients in the USA, Australia, the UK and Asia.

Team Principals

John has been working in marketing and sales for over 10 years, working with brands such as Procter & Gamble, RACV/Q and Sothebys during stints at global Advertising agencies early in his career.

His core specialties lie in marketing strategy development and branding, but is most sought after for his ability to influence users online and generate behavioral responses though marketing communications. He spends most of his time in Melbourne, Australia and California, USA.

John James

Strategic marketing & business model expert

Matthew started building websites at the age of 12 before teaching himself online marketing through various e-commerce startups before he graduated high school.

He is a highly competent web systems architect, a registered Trademarks Attorney, with a dash of accounting and financial knowledge thrown into the mix. He combined this with a solid grounding in modern online marketing approaches.
